Legodi Lifts was registered in May 2019 and began operating in August after Gilbert’s departure from his previous work. The company is already involved in maintenance, installation of new lifts, and upgrading existing installations in South Africa, as well as providing support to SubSahara Countries. Legodi Lifts services all types of lifts and has experience with products from other companies.
We supply and install gearless lifts for simplex and duplex groups with a speed of 0.63-1m/s. The passenger capacity ranges from 6 to 25 people. We provide service, supply, and upgrade passenger and paraplegic lifts for various settings including offices, public spaces, schools, homes, and commercial areas. Additionally, we offer goods-only lifts, car lifts, and dump waiters. We also supply and install car park lifts for limited parking.
We install new lifts according to regulations and offer commissioning and Annex A inspection. Our services include installing passenger lifts, hydraulic lifts, paraplegic lifts, and platform lifts. We have experienced personnel for commissioning and registered Lifts inspectors for Annex A inspection on new installations.

Legodi lifts offer lift assessment and audit services to ensure compliance with lift regulations and safety standards. They can also address any issues identified during inspections and provide the necessary certification to comply with South African SANS regulation.

Platform lifts for home and disability lifts are hydraulic with a load capacity of 250-350 or 500kg. It requires a minimum pit of 200mm and has limited headroom of 2500mm. It can be installed inside a shaft or comes with a structural shaft. The speed is 0.15m/s.
Commissioning and Troubleshooting.
Legodi Lifts have high skill and experience in lifts products and provide support for fixing troublesome lifts. They can place, adjust, and program parameters on the drive and boards, as well as design new control panels for replacement. Legodi lifts supply and upgrade old goods-only lifts to comply with new regulations (SANS 1545-5).
